Please, help: which language is it?

I found this among my grandmother’s stuff, who used to be a great traveller.. In what language is it written? I do not know! Thank you very much!

    Mi konigis vian demandon al esperanta mondo, kaj David de Ugarte says:
    Ĝi estas Kuŝida lingvo, probable Amhara.
    Ho fatto conoscere la domanda nel mondo esperantista. David de Ugarte ha risposto che è una lingua derivata, probabilmente lingua amarica.
